Creamy Chicken Tagliatelle

I didn’t think I was going to share this recipe but the wonderful ladies follwing me on facebook and instagram have asked and how can I not oblige.

This was a lazy dish…as is with many of my dishes. hahahaha if I had more time I would have preferred to make my own fresh pasta (which also takes a very short amount of time but I was lazy to make more mess in the kitchen)

So I started on the creamy chicken first but you can do it either way, put on a pot of water to boil and add a few drops of oil and some rough salt (I was in such a tizz I even added pepper, don’t do it! My mind had clearly left me for a little while there)

Then get the chicken on:

4 chicken fillets, sliced into fair sized shavings (depends on how you like your chicken to be cut)

Add to a saucepan with some ghee (yes, the good stuff) and thinly sliced garlic.

Throw in some s&p as well as lemon pepper and some lemon juice.

Cook for a bit then we pull out the handy helpers, garlic sauce and fresh cream.

Add 1/4 cup garlic sauce, 250ml fresh cream (have another tub on hand in case you feel you need more cream)

Also add more lemon juice (give it a taste to see if it needs it), add two thinly sliced chillies, one green & one red (burn baby, burn…but seriously it’s optional) and you want to add 1/2 cup of parmesan cheese.

Cook til done, add more cream if it’s too thick, I like it saucy saucy so I add another 125ml of cream.

Add to pasta, garnish and serve.
