Tacos anyone?

Sometimes all you want is an easy DIY type of lunch…so when makeover day with a couple friends rolled around..I hosted it at my place. 

And a super crazy work week meant I was insanely grateful to throw together a taco bar…because easy!

And because Safeera Kaka‘s JalapeƱo poppers…omnomnomnomnom!

Mexican fiesta it would be! That’s all.

I bought pre-marinated cubed chicken and unmarinated cubed steak.

The tacos – bought those too! Whoop whoop!! 


I literally just cooked the chicken and steak, prepped the condiments and set up!

I put the condiments into mini Consol jars and it worked really well, not just in looks but yay for no cling wrap required! 


So you need:

  • Cooked cubed chicken
  • Cooked cubed steak
  • Tomato salsa
  • Chopped green and/or red cabbage
  • Sliced lettuce
  • Julienned carrots
  • Bean (as salsa if you don’t want it plain)
  • Spices
  • Grated Cheese
  • Miracle whip (if required)
  • Lemons or limes
  • JalapeƱos
  • Whatever else you desire!

Set up, I used egg trays to hold the tacos upright…serve! 

Serve with some frozen Virgin Tropical Margaritas.
