Naan Khatai – an Indian biscuit that just melts in your mouth

I lurrrvvvvv this recipe. It’s the BEST!!

Naan Khatai – from my Nassima masie

1/2 lb butter
1 & 1/2 cups castor sugar
1 cup oil

Beat the above

Add:
1 tsp nutmeg powder
1 tsp elachi powder
1/2 tsp bicarb
3 tsp baking powder
4 cups flour – to make a soft dough

If your dough is too soft add more flour but not more than 1/4-1/3cup

Roll into balls, press in sliced almond dipped in egg white and bake til it cracks
